How the Screw-Lock Closure Works
The coupling sleeve travels over the threaded male end to close the opening. Its hexagonal exterior can provide a controlled gripping surface for tightening or removal when permitted by the installation instructions. Thread engagement, sleeve position and closure torque must follow the approved product specification. A quick link should not be loaded while partly open or with insufficient thread engagement.

304 and 316 Stainless Steel
Type 304 stainless steel offers a practical balance of corrosion resistance and strength for suitable indoor, general industrial and architectural applications. Type 316 is normally preferred for marine, coastal, exterior and chloride-prone service. Material selection should consider exposure, cleaning chemicals, temperature, maintenance and the consequence of corrosion in the completed assembly.
Manufacturing Process

Load Rating and Safety Requirements
Appearance, material grade and nominal diameter do not establish a working load limit.
