Three-Spoke Handwheel for Manual Adjustment
This stainless steel handwheel combines an open three-spoke profile, a rounded outer rim and a central mounting hub. The photographs show several wheel proportions and internally threaded hub examples. For a replacement or new assembly, start with the required wheel diameter and the complete mating interface rather than selecting by appearance alone.
Specifications and Order Options
| Item | Reference and information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Product form | Three-spoke handwheel with rounded rim and central hub. |
| Material | 304 stainless steel listed in the supplier reference. Confirm grade and any material documentation required for the order. |
| Wheel diameter | The reference includes a 200 mm outside-diameter option and an option labelled 250 / Tr28×5. Confirm the full dimensional drawing for the selected configuration; the photographs are not a dimensional scale. |
| Hub connection | Internally threaded examples shown. Specify thread designation, pitch, direction, engagement length and fit, or provide the required bore drawing. |
| Custom dimensions | The supplier reference offers bore and dimensional customization. Feasibility of the requested wheel, hub and interface geometry requires drawing review. |
| Surface condition | Metallic finish as pictured. Define polishing, edge condition and cosmetic acceptance criteria separately. |
| Operating duty | Torque, frequency of operation and environmental requirements to be supplied for application review. No rated torque is established by the photographs. |
Match the Hub to the Mechanism
Wheel outside diameter does not determine shaft compatibility. Include the hub outside diameter, overall hub length, mounting offset and available clearance. For a threaded connection, provide the full thread callout and identify the mating component. The supplier reference mentions trapezoidal threads, including Tr28×5; confirm the required thread form and direction on the order drawing.
For a replacement handwheel, include a dimensioned sketch or the original component drawing. A front-view photo alone may not show a recessed hub, shoulder or rear-face clearance that affects installation.
Application and Finish Requirements
Typical enquiry contexts include manual adjustment mechanisms, positioning assemblies and valve operating equipment. Selection depends on the mating interface, required operating torque and installation space. Specify whether the assembly will be used indoors, exposed to moisture or in contact with cleaning chemicals so material and finish requirements can be reviewed.
The open spoke layout and rounded rim are visible design features. Manufacturing route, torque capacity and service-specific compliance should be confirmed separately rather than inferred from surface appearance.
Inspection Requirements
Identify critical wheel and hub dimensions, thread or bore inspection requirements, edge condition and finish expectations. If material records or special testing are needed, request them with the enquiry so their scope and availability can be agreed before ordering. Learn more about AODSON quality control.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the centre bore or thread be specified?
The supplier reference offers bore and dimensional customization. Send the full interface drawing for feasibility review, including any thread, shoulder or retention details.
Are all pictured wheels the same size?
No. The group image shows different proportions. Confirm outside diameter, hub dimensions and mounting geometry for the selected item.
Is Tr28×5 the only thread option?
It is a visible supplier-reference option, not a complete range. Submit the required thread specification for confirmation.
