Choosing Between the Two Head Forms
A closed eye provides a loop-shaped interface, while an open hook provides an accessible opening. Match the connector dimensions and retention requirements to the selected form; do not treat an open hook as interchangeable with a closed eye. For the eye style, define the required joint construction and acceptance criteria rather than inferring strength from its appearance.
The pictured shanks have machine threads and blunt ends. They are not presented as pointed wood-screw hooks. Specify the mating threaded hole or nut, available engagement and installation clearance when requesting a quotation.
