Manual Ball Valve with Inline Clamp Ends
This clamp-end ball valve features a reflective metal finish, a compact cylindrical body and a long lever handle. The gallery shows the side profile, end connection, stem area and body detail to help define installation space and mating interfaces. The supplier describes a three-section straight-through configuration; confirm the internal arrangement and service procedure against the selected model drawing.
Reference Specifications
| Parameter | Reference and order requirements |
|---|---|
| Valve type | Manual ball valve with two inline clamp-end connections. |
| Material references | 304 and 316 stainless steel listed by the supplier. Specify and confirm body, ball, stem and other wetted-part grades separately. |
| Size references | Supplier options include Φ12.7 with a 25 mm clamp ferrule and Φ19 with a 50.5 mm clamp ferrule. Confirm the meaning of the Φ dimension, ferrule profile, passage size and overall length on a dimensioned drawing. |
| Handle | Long metal lever as photographed. Confirm lever length, operating clearance and stop arrangement. |
| Body arrangement | Supplier-described three-section construction; assembly details and maintenance access to be confirmed. |
| Seats and seals | Compound and service compatibility not specified in the supplied reference. Define medium, cleaning chemicals and temperature requirements. |
| Pressure and temperature | Ratings to be confirmed for the selected size, materials, seals and complete connection assembly. |
| Surface finish | Reflective exterior as pictured. Internal roughness, polishing criteria and surface treatment require a separate specification. |
| Connection hardware | Mating clamps, gaskets and pipe ferrules are not assumed to be included; confirm the supply list. |
Specify the Connection and Flow Passage
Include the mating ferrule outside diameter, sealing profile, tube dimensions and applicable connection standard in the enquiry. A clamp size alone does not identify the flow passage or establish interchangeability. The pictured end face has an opening smaller than its surrounding ferrule; this page does not claim a full-bore design.
Provide the installation envelope and handle-sweep clearance, together with the required end-to-end length. For an existing line, a drawing or measured interface is more useful than a nominal size alone.
Process Suitability and Inspection
For food, beverage or other process-line enquiries, identify the medium, operating pressure, temperature range and cleaning conditions. The supplier uses food-grade wording, but the reference does not establish food-contact approval, sanitary certification or cleaning validation. Required material, seal and hygiene documentation should be agreed before ordering.
Specify dimensional checks, operation checks, seat-leakage criteria and any pressure testing or material traceability records required. Testing and documentation availability are subject to confirmation with the quotation. See AODSON quality control.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a full-bore valve?
No full-bore specification is confirmed. Request the actual passage diameter and compare it with the connected tube dimensions.
Does the clamp ferrule diameter determine the valve size?
Not by itself. Confirm the tube or passage dimension, ferrule profile and overall length separately using the selected model drawing.
Can the valve be selected for food-contact service from these images?
No. Confirm wetted materials, seal compounds, cleaning requirements and supporting documentation for the intended application.
