Custom Stainless Steel Slatted Storage Pallets and Dunnage Racks
AODSON manufactures welded stainless steel slatted storage pallets and low-profile dunnage racks for keeping bagged, boxed and packaged goods raised above warehouse, storeroom and production floors. The open slat deck supports stored products while allowing air circulation, inspection and floor cleaning around the rack.
Overall length, width, height, slat spacing, frame section, leg layout and finish are produced to an approved drawing. Reference configurations supplied with the project include a 1200 × 1200 × 125 mm platform and an 800 × 400 mm footprint, but all dimensions and capacities require order confirmation.

Representative Storage Load

The raised open-deck design is suitable for bagged and packaged stock when load distribution, stack height and stability are controlled. The product image demonstrates a representative arrangement only and does not establish a certified load rating.
Frame and Slat Construction

Parallel stainless steel slats are welded to the perimeter and intermediate supports to create an open platform. Slat width and spacing, frame tube size, number of legs and center supports can be adjusted for the container footprint, cleaning access and target load distribution.
Design and Ordering Considerations
Specify overall dimensions, maximum distributed load, point-load locations, product footprint, stacking method, floor condition, lifting or handling method, required clearance and operating environment. If forklift or pallet-jack handling is required, fork-entry dimensions, approach direction, impact allowance and retention features must be included in the approved design.
Key Features
- Raised storage: keeps packaged goods above the floor for moisture separation, inspection and cleaning access.
- Open slatted deck: promotes air circulation and reduces broad horizontal surfaces that collect debris.
- Welded stainless construction: provides a durable, corrosion-resistant frame when the correct grade is selected.
- Custom support layout: slats, cross-members and legs can be positioned around the expected load pattern.
- Made to size: footprint, height and finish can be matched to warehouse aisles, rooms and stored packages.
Typical Applications
- Food ingredient, grain and packaged-goods storage
- Commercial kitchens, storerooms and dry-goods areas
- Pharmaceutical, chemical and clean production facilities
- Warehouses, workshops and industrial stock rooms
- OEM material-handling and elevated equipment platforms
Quality Control and Inspection
Inspection can include material identification, overall dimensions, squareness, flatness, leg height, slat spacing, weld appearance and surface condition. Proof-load or deflection testing can be arranged when the support condition, test load, duration and acceptance criteria are specified. Learn more about AODSON quality control and inspection.
OEM Customization and RFQ Requirements
For quotation, provide a drawing or target footprint, height, material grade, distributed and point loads, stored-product dimensions, slat spacing, lifting method, finish, quantity and any proof-load or hygiene requirements. Submit the project through the request-a-quote page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the pallet size and height be customized?
Yes. Length, width, height, slat spacing, tube section and support layout can be manufactured to the approved drawing.
What load can the rack carry?
Capacity depends on the footprint, stainless steel sections, slat spacing, welds, leg arrangement, load distribution and floor support. A rating should be agreed only after design review and validation requirements are defined.
Can it be designed for forklift handling?
Yes, when fork-entry size, direction, clearance, impact conditions and handling frequency are specified before the frame design is approved.
