Equivalent trade names can vary by producer. The final quotation should use the required UNS, EN, ASTM, ASME or customer-specific material designation rather than a trade name alone.

Provide a dimensioned drawing or sample, material grade, thread system and tolerance, required quantity, surface condition and delivery destination. If corrosion resistance, high-temperature service, hardness or mechanical properties are critical, state the required special material or alloy designation, governing standard and inspection documents.
