Sanitary Hinged Pipe Hanger Clamp
This component is commonly described as a sanitary pipe hanger, hygienic tube support clamp or hinged pipe clip with a threaded mounting boss. The split circular band opens at the hinge, closes with a captive wing screw and provides an external threaded connection for fixing the hanger to a support structure. Its compact design simplifies installation around an existing tube.
Custom Configuration
| Clamp style | Hinged split-band pipe hanger with wing screw, bolt-and-nut or project-specified closure. |
|---|---|
| Tube size | Manufactured to the required tube outside diameter. The supplier reference shows 12.7 mm and 19 mm options; other metric and inch sizes are available to drawing. |
| Mounting connection | Male or female threaded boss, weld stem, threaded rod connection or custom bracket. |
| Thread options | BSPP, BSPT, NPT, M8, M10, M12 or drawing-specified threads. The sample listing identifies an external-thread version; the exact standard must be confirmed before production. |
| Finish | As-cast, machined, satin, mechanically polished or project-specified surface treatment. |
| Reference material | The supplier reference identifies a 304 stainless steel version. Final material and documentation follow the purchase specification. |
Material Options
| Stainless steel | 304, 304L, 316 and 316L for general hygienic and industrial pipe-support applications. |
|---|---|
| High-alloy stainless steel | 321, 310S, 904L, duplex 2205 and super duplex 2507. |
| Carbon and alloy steel | Q235, Q355 and project-specified grades with zinc plating, hot-dip galvanizing or another suitable protective finish. |
| Titanium | Grade 2 / TA2 and Grade 5 / TC4 for weight-sensitive or corrosive-service projects. |
| Nickel and special alloys | Inconel 600, 625 and 718; Hastelloy C-276; Monel 400; Alloy 20 and other specified alloys, subject to manufacturing review. |
| Other materials | Aluminum, brass, bronze and custom metal combinations can be evaluated according to load, environment and installation requirements. |
Applications and Ordering Information
Typical uses include supporting sanitary tubing, decorative pipework, food and beverage equipment, pharmaceutical utilities, brewery and dairy lines, chemical-process skids, water systems and general industrial piping. The clamp is a mechanical support rather than a fluid-contact fitting; required load, vibration, corrosion resistance and cleaning conditions should be considered separately.
For quotation, provide the tube outside diameter, clamp width and thickness, mounting thread and orientation, material grade, finish, support load, operating environment, required hardware, quantity and drawing or sample. If compliance with a hygienic standard is required, state the exact standard and documentation in the enquiry.
